Fall 2026 Season Is Here!
Miracle League of the Desert is back for another season of inclusive baseball for players of all abilities throughout the Morongo Basin. Games begin September 14, with batting practice at 5 PM and games at 6 PM.
Missed registration? Players can still register during the first two games of the season, or contact Cindy at 760-217-0133 to arrange another time.
Spectators and buddies are always welcome — come cheer on our players and be part of the fun!
Free Live Music in Twentynine Palms
Grab your family, your friends, a lawn chair or a blanket — Saturday nights are for live music in Twentynine Palms!
Levitt AMP Twentynine Palms Music Series, an affiliate partner of Basin Wide Foundation, brings FREE, family-friendly live music to Freedom Plaza every Saturday, September 26–October 24.
Come early, grab dinner from a local food truck, shop local vendors, pick up a refreshing drink and find your spot for a night of live music under the desert sky.
Doors open at 6 PM | Live music 7–9 PM
Don’t have a chair? No problem — chairs will be available to rent from local nonprofits at the concerts. Admission is completely FREE, so bring the family, meet up with friends and make a night of it!

We’re looking for individuals with the experience, passion, and professionalism to help strengthen our organization and guide the future of the Morongo Basin.
Ideal board members bring skills in areas like governance, legal work, finance, nonprofit leadership, or community engagement. They are willing to attend monthly meetings, support our Executive Director, and represent Basin Wide Foundation at community events as we work to improve life and economic vitality throughout the region.
Projects like the California Welcome Center, Brehm Youth Sports Park, Sky’s the Limit Observatory, Morongo Basin Haven, Dreams 4 Kids, and many more are only possible because of dedicated leaders who believe in this mission and choose to serve.

Provides four annual scholarships to Morongo Basin high school seniors pursuing their next chapter after graduation. Established in honor of Bob Dunn — a dedicated community leader and longtime local resident — the scholarship recognizes students who demonstrate academic success, awareness of civic issues, and a desire to contribute to their community.
